Registered Dental Hygienist

The Role:

We’re on the hunt for a Registered Dental Hygienist who shares our passion for preventive care, continuous learning, and exceptional patient service. Key Responsibilities:

– Serve as the chief preventive provider, focusing on motivating, educating, and providing top-tier treatment.

– Recognize early signs of periodontal disease and engage patients in their treatment and prevention.

– Utilize cutting-edge technology and provide comprehensive patient education to ensure the best outcomes.

– Work collaboratively within our team to support a positive office culture and the delivery of excellent dental services.

We’re Looking For:

– One or two full-time team members

– A valid State Registered Dental Hygiene License.

– CPR Certification and qualifications in Anesthesia/Sedation (ideally).

– A commitment to continuing education: 40hrs of clinical CE every two years.

– Excellent communication skills, with a knack for patient education and motivation.

– A team player who supports and uplifts their colleagues, contributing to our positive, empowering work environment.

Dental Assistant/EFDA (Training Provided)

Join Our Empowering Team as a Dental Assistant!

Mount Pleasant Dental Wellness is known for delivering excellence through comfortable dental care. We are a supportive, caring team whose purpose is to serve by improving lives.

The Role:

We are seeking a new Dental Assistant or Expanded Functions Dental Assistant to join our world-class team. Experience is appreciated, though not required as we are happy to provide on-the-job training. This is a full-time position, four days per week, with benefits, continuing education opportunities and an environment encouraging personal growth.

Key Responsibilities:

– Work directly with patients and doctors to deliver comfortable, quality dentistry in a trusting environment

– Maintain high standards of infection control through sterilization of instruments and treatment rooms

– Take x-rays, scans, photos and impressions of teeth

– Lab work including pouring models, fabricating whitening trays and mouthguards, cleaning dentures, and more

– Schedule appointments

– Discuss financial information with patients

– Work with computers sending scans, typing notes and treatment planning in our dental software

We’re Looking For:

– You think ahead and embrace change, sharing your ideas to improve processes and efficiency.

– You work well with a team, encouraging others and always striving to be the best version of yourself

– You are a good listener and are effective in communication

– You are flexible to work at two locations

– You have strong computer skills

– You enjoy learning and caring for others in a fast-paced environment

– You are willing to become x-ray certified

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 – $32.00 per hour

Schedule:

10 hour shift
Day shift
No weekends
